All our flags are made by hand.
First; the wood is cut into individual slats for each stripe, then to give the flags have that aged and rustic look we burn each slat to bring out the grain.
We then paint each slat and construct by glueing and securing cleats to form the flag. This is followed by cutting the stars and/or design into the piece.
Finally: the entire piece is sealed with polyurethane that will provide protection for indoor and outdoor desplaying. However, if displayed outdoors the sun/rain will eventurally dull the colors after a long period of time.
